Sing a new song!
Now is the time to join your local community choir, “Village Voices.”
We are in our 6th year and sing a wide variety of songs from all ages and genres. While we are a “Lighter Side” choir, we are beginning preparations for a concert on Sunday November 11th to commemorate Armistice Day and the significant anniversary of the end of the First World War.
This will begin in a serious vein but end with an uplifting “Last Night of the Proms” feel, including community numbers such as “Land of Hope and Glory”
We have vacancies in all sections, particularly ladies. No need to read music, rehearsal cds will help you learn the notes!
Ring Liz Watkins on 10392 811285 for more details.
Rehearsal dates are September 27th, October 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th
