Minutes of Whitestone Parish Council meeting held at Whitestone Parish Hall at 7.30pm on Thursday 1st August 2013

The Council meeting included the August draw for the 100 Club in support of the Parish Hall Management Development Fund. The number drawn was 07 and belongs to Andrea Kane.
The Chairman opened the meeting which was called to discuss the following planning application that requires a response within a 21 days deadline.
57. 13/01962/VAR Variation of condition 2 on planning application 11/00872/FUL to amend design of extension to be free-standing at Heath House, Whitestone. The Council examined the application and plans and discussion followed. It was felt that there although the variation is not objected to the Council would prefer a style which does not require a further 2ft extension to a building which is already of significant size.
58. FINANCE
The Clerk presented the following cheques which require authorisation for payment and these were proposed and seconded for payment. All in favour.
58.1 Ace Scaffolding Specialists £192.00 (including £32. VAT)
58.2 Whitestone Parish Hall Management Committee (August) £125.

The Chairman opened the meeting which was called to discuss the following planning application that requires a response within a 21 days deadline.
59. 13/01712/OUT Outline for demolition of existing, disused outbuildings and erection of dwelling and creation of double garage on land adjacent to Hindcross, Whitestone.
The Council examined the application and discussion followed with Mr Trowbridge answering some questions regarding the protected species survey regarding the bats which are considered to be using the buildings which are to be demolished. It was felt that there were no objections to the outline planning application as it would prove an improvement.
