Minutes of Whitestone Parish Council held at Whitestone Parish Hall on Thursday 10th August 2017 at 7.30pm.

Cllr Hickman opened the meeting which has been called to discuss planning applications that require a response to Teignbridge District Council within a 21 days deadline.
56. The following applications/plans were examined and discussion took place with the following observations.
56.1 17/01786/MAJ Agricultural building at Upper Kingswell Farm, Longdown. Mr Palfrey, who was in attendance, was invited to give explanations regarding this application which after discussion was supported.
56.2 17/01811/FUL Increase in height to approved workshop extension (approved as part of 16/00873/FUL) at Derek Lane and Company, Tedburn Road. Not supported. Concerns on grounds of site access on this very busy road owing to the possibility of larger vehicles resulting in expansion of business which would have difficulty in entering existing entrance and the speed of traffic using this road.
56.3 17/01938/NPA Application for Prior Approval under Schedule 2, Part 3, Class P of the GPDO for changes of use of a storage or distribution building (Class B8) to a dwelling at Rebecca Springs, Nadderwater. Not supported ‐ encroaching development not conducive to an agricultural area and concerns regarding increased traffic in the area emerging onto a busy road.

57.4 E-on Energy Solutions Ltd for 1 School Houses £2,046.52 (includes £97.45 VAT) ‐ Cheque 351.
57.5 E-on Energy Solutions Ltd for 2 School Houses £4,925.65 (includes £246.28 VAT) ‐ Cheque 352.
57.6 Devon Association of Local Councils £30.00 (includes £5.00 VAT) ‐ Cheque 353.
57.7 Alliance Garage Doors £35.00 ‐ Cheque 354
The meeting closed at 8.25pm
